Wage Claims in Bangladesh Challenge Wal-Mart’s Green Initiatives

Garment workers took the streets today in Bangladesh to demand a higher increase of the minimum wage. Wal-Mart and other Western brands have suppliers in this country. On the positive side, Walmart’s Greenhouse Gas Protocol Document and the greening of its security departments made the news.
