Patrick Ruch is a Professor at the University of Applied Sciences, Geneva where he leads a team specialising in information retrieval, text mining and knowledge representation.
Formerly he worked at the Zurich research lab of IBM and has been a research associate at EPFL.
He holds a PhD in sciences from the University of Geneva, and an undergraduate degree in information sciences from the University of Paris-Est (Marne la Vallée/Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers).
