The <acronym title=\"Fair Labor Association\">FLA<\/acronym> is a  non-profit multi-stakeholder initiative that works with major companies  to improve working conditions in their supply chains. In January the <acronym title=\"Fair Labor Association\">FLA<\/acronym> will send independent experts to C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire to examine Nestl\u00e9\u2019s cocoa supply chain. Where they find evidence of child labour, the <acronym title=\"Fair Labor Association\">FLA<\/acronym> will identify the root causes and advise Nestl\u00e9 how to address them in ways that are sustainable and lasting. The <acronym title=\"Fair Labor Association\">FLA<\/acronym>\u2019s role will  be to provide expertise to help ensure Nestl\u00e9\u2019s efforts to eliminate  child labour are more effective and transparent. First food company to partner FLA. Nestl\u00e9 is applying to become a member of the <acronym title=\"Fair Labor Association\">FLA<\/acronym>. It is the first food company to do this. The <acronym title=\"Fair Labor Association\">FLA<\/acronym>\u2019s work with Nestl\u00e9 on cocoa will begin early next year in C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, the world\u2019s largest exporter of the raw material.
