The complaints also want DuPont to provide medical monitoring of illnesses the residents say they suffered because of the contamination, and they demand that DuPont clean up the groundwater contamination under their homes. About 50 of the complaints were filed on behalf of individual residents Thursday in state Superior Court in Passaic County by Weitz and Luxenberg, a New York law firm representing the residents.
