La Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Txteagle en collaboration avec Nokia, a lanc\u00e9 au Kenya une initiative novatrice : des milliers de d\u00e9tenteurs des t\u00e9l\u00e9phones portables habitant dans les quartiers pauvres du pays, gagnent de petites sommes en participant \u00e0\u00a0 des travaux de traduction. Chacun d\u2019eux re\u00e0\u00a7oit par sms une t\u00e0\u00a2che \u00e0\u00a0 effectuer, s\u2019en acquitte et envoie le r\u00e9sultat \u00e0\u00a0 la centrale. Nokia est le premier client : le fabricant finlandais de portables propose les menus et les fonctions de ces appareils dans les soixante langues parl\u00e9es au Kenya. Txteagle cherche donc les personnes pr\u00e0\u00aates \u00e0\u00a0 traduire les expressions anglaises dans leurs langues maternelles. La Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 envoie le m\u00e0\u00aame mot ou la m\u00e0\u00aame phrase \u00e0\u00a0 plusieurs utilisateurs et consid\u00e8re comme correct la r\u00e9ponse qu\u2019elle re\u00e0\u00a7oit de la majoroit\u00e9 d\u2019entre eux.
