The 2nd Forum of the GAIN Business Alliance was co-organized with the World Bank Institute (WBI), and brought together over 100 business leaders from across the food supply chain, together with experts from European Union and international agencies, academia and government. The Forum\u2019s theme of growing GAIN \u2014 growing understanding of the malnutrition problem, growing the market for business to invest, growing cross-sector partnerships and resources targeting innovative and sustainable solutions \u2014 provided a focus for the discussions. The meeting was addressed by the Chair of the Development Committee of the European Parliament, and its conclusions reported at a GAIN Board lunch with the EU Commissioner for Development Louis Michel on the 8th May.
