The report released by conservation group WWF places LVMH just behind L\u2019Or\u00e9al and Herm\u00e8s in a ranking based on \u201cenvironmental, social and governance performance\u201d of 11 major firms. WWF came by this ranking via data from analysts Ethical Investment Research Service, which scans company reports and information, as well as Covalence, a news tracking service. The report follows a recent \u201cWealth Report\u201d by New York-based Luxury Institute, which found that 57% of 950 US adults surveyed \u201csay they would pay higher prices for a brand that is recognised for socially responsible practices\u201d and that 70% \u201cseek out brands with superior environmental records\u201d.
