Covalence ethical quotation system allows interested parties to submit information, thus feeding the database and influencing the “ethical quote†of companies, in the spirit of a journal’s readers section. Information can be submitted using the contact form or by email to info@covalence.ch.
Covalence’s 45 criteria of business contribution to human development have been defined according to an international legal framework, covering economic, social and environmental impacts of companies. This approach confronts information issued by companies, the media and civil society organizations: non governmental organizations (NGOs), indigenous peoples organizations, trade unions, local communities, research institutes and consumer organizations.
By feeding the Covalence independent information channel, your organization may effectively influence financial markets and investors. This information will further contribute to a positive change in the attitudes of multinational companies and in the promotion of corporate social responsibility.
Information submitted will be entered into Covalence EthicalQuote as long as it is considered relevant according to the methodology in use. To enter the database, information should relate the economic, social and environmental impact of multinational companies (see criteria), and carry an orientation: “ethical demand” (information on what society is asking companies to do) or “ethical offer” (information on what the company is doing for society). On the one hand this allows civil society organizations to transmit their claims and on the other the companies can respond and offer specifics.
Documents should have an identified author, either a person or an organization. Covalence collects written documents in electronic format only. If the document is available on the Internet, the link can be sent using the online form or by email.
Information can also be sent as email messages and attachments to info@covalence.ch. If the document is on paper, it should first be scanned and then sent as an email attachment to the same address. We welcome pictures and illustrations.
Information received by Covalence is published on the Messages section of its website.
